Canada study plan samples help you prepare for your study plan well. When applying for a student visa in Canada, you’re required to submit a study plan. A study plan gives Visa Officers an explanation as to why you want to study in Canada and how it fits with your future objectives. With this being said, you want to ensure you make it good!

It’s important to be very clear and concise, but to also be specific. It isn’t necessary to explain your entire life history. Rather, focus on how pursuing education in Canada will help your current academic studies and career experiences. The study plan must be from the applicant and should be about one page in length and include the following information:

  • Why do you want to study in Canada at this school?
  • Overall study objective
  • How a degree will improve your career opportunities
Submit a one page study plan which answers the following questions and includes any other information relevant to the processing of your application:
(a) Why do you wish to study in Canada in the program for which you have been accepted?
(b) What is your overall educational goal?
(c) Why are you not pursuing a similar program in your country of residence or citizenship?
(d) How will this program enhance your employment opportunities in your country of
residence or citizenship?
(e) What ties do you have to your country of residence or citizenship?
(f) If it has been more than two years since you have left full-time education, please provide your C.V.
(h) In the case of a minor applicant, what are your reasons for wishing to study in Canada? What is your parents or guardians immigration status in their current country of residence?
