UBC has two campuses — one in Vancouver and the other in Kelowna. The main campus is in Vancouver and has more than 400 hectares in size. There are forest on three sides and ocean on the fourth, and is just a 30 minute bus ride to Vancouver’s downtown core. The location of campus is on this site for most of its 100-year history; a location that is the traditional territory of the Musqueam people. UBC is the beautiful green campuses in Vancouver and Okanagan. Therefore, it is home to a concert hall, a working farm, an Olympic ice hockey venue, Canada’s largest blue whale skeleton, world-class science labs for subatomic physics, and a center for interactive research in sustainability.
